Some people are extremely natural in front of the camera, but for most it’s weird and uncomfortable at first! This is totally normal, and isn’t going to prevent you from getting some great photos.
Some things that I do to help people loosen up is joke around with them, and tell them to dance and show their goofy side.
If you’re the person in front of the camera, just remember that you look great, and have fun! When you’re having a good time is when the best photos happen. Cynthia was very fun to work with because when she “let loose” I really got to see her personality, and it showed in her photos!
