Christmas this year was special.
Jake and I have been living in our house since May, and this was our first year decorating for the holidays together. If you know Jake and I, you know that we tend to procrastinate. Our Christmas tree was the last thing on our list, and when we went to purchase it there were none left. Defeated, we went home without a tree and decided to get one next year.
A week or so before Christmas I came home from work, and like the angel he is, Jake had our brand-new tree put together and a box of ornaments ready to go! We spent the night decorating our tree and watching X-Files – our guilty pleasure.
